About the author

A Japanese-Australian based down under, my work in the Japanese fight scene began as an interpreter for the 'We are RIZIN Podcast' where I interviewed a number of fighters including RIZIN featherweight champion Yutaka Saito and former Lumpinee and Rajadamnern champion Nadaka Yoshinari. 

I created 'The Fighter' with the hopes to give Japanese fighters a bigger voice to the international audience. Digging deep into their background, challenges and aspirations, I intend to bring to light the untold stories of Japanese fighters as well as those who support them.
